Ajuga reptans 'Chocolate Chip' is a semi-evergreen groundcover with unique smaller, unserrated leaves that stand out from other Ajuga varieties. It thrives in partial to full shade, providing a colorful and lush look. With its thick,spreading growth habit, it makes an excellent choice for a low-maintenance groundcover. It is tolerant of light foot traffic and can work as a mower free lawn alternative for shade. As an added bonus it is topped with 4-8" purple flower spikes in spring-early summer.
