Geum macrophyllum, commonly known as Large Leaf Avens, is a widespread species of wildflower native to Western North America, Northern States in the east and much of Canada. This strawberry relative boasts yellow, five-petalled blooms and semi-evergreen foliage, which attracts native bees and flies for pollination. A spectacular addition to a meadow garden where it will naturalize. Geum macrophyllum is both beautiful and beneficial for local wildlife.
