This naturally occuring hybrid of Lonicera hispidula and Lonicera interrupta was collected in the Grants Pass area of Oregon. Flowers are a blend of the two species with a pink/purple lip and yellow corolla (the tube part of the flower). Leaves also appear to be intermediate between the two It appears to have some hybrid vigor and disease resistance. We are still experimenting with this plant and hope that it proves to be a great hummingbird plant.
