Solidago lepida is a perennial wildflower native to Oregon and Western North America. It has showy yellow pyramid shaped pannicales of little yellow daisy-like flowers in late summer/early fall. Western Canada Goldenrod is one of the best native plants for pollinators, attracting a wide variety of native bees later in the season than most of our native wildflowers. It is drought tolerant but will bloom better with occasional summer water. Will self-seed regularly and is excellent in a native meadow landscape where it can be allowed to spread around the garden a little.
